Mmm... chocolate

We went on the annual chocolate shop yesterday.

Lots of chocs for Aunties and Uncles and selection boxes for all the children in the family!

I shall be printing and cutting this out to add to my December 5th page.

Family joy

We had a family Christmas dinner last night out at a restaurant and although the food and the service wasn't great (laughable actually) we had a lovely time. There were 22 of us split over 2 tables. These two make me smile when they get together, Jack was having fun sticking the star confetti on his face and Ollie pulling faces!
My number 3 page has a picture of some of the family on and a quote from an old stampin' up kit that says
                         "May your season sparkle with the joy of family and friends"

Stir it up

A tradition that has carried down through my family has been to make a wish when stirring up the Christmas cake. We made our big cakes earlier on in Novevember, but this week I've been making some small 3" ones to decorate for Jamie's breakfast club teachers. They look super yummy.

...off we go :)
First day done.
 I made Ollie a book advent calendar this year, he loves reading and stories so I visited a few charity shops and collected 24 books with a Christmas or wintery theme and wrapped one up for everyday in December. He was really excited to open up his first book today and we read it before bedtime.
This is my main page and I've added a few more photos and journaling into 4 pockets over the page but I want to keep it as simple as possible so its manageable!
