Greenhouse garden

Just a quick post! A few cards we're making tomorrow. This one has a detachable bookmark that folds inside the card.
The stamp set is Greenhouse garden.

This is a gatefold card. The cardstock colours are sage shadow and pale plum. The design paper is perfect plum.

On this card I used crystal effects to make the flowers shine.

I have to go and type up my instructions!

February Class

This is my February class using Stampin' Up!'s medallion stamp. We are making 2 cards and a covered notepad . We will also be using some of the word background stamps too.

This card uses the whole medallion stamp and in the middle I've added a clear rhinestone brad to give it a more feminine look.

This one has been stamped in versa mark and embossed with clear embossing powder then inked over in chocolate chip with a sponge. I've added some linen thread and a button for detail.

This is the note pad folded up and below opened out. This uses the friendly background stamp.

I made a new cover for the pad and stamped the word notes on it with the just perfect alphabet stamps. It all holds together with a velcro circle.

Flight of the butterfly

Hi peeps! This is what we are making in my next class on Saturday.
We are using Stampin' Up! Flight of the butterfly stamp set to stamp a card, a candle and Lauren's new shutterfly box template to make the gift box.
I had great fun with this set and it is one of my favourites as is the design paper which is bella bleu and goes beautifully with the kraft cardstock.

Tree trimmings

I loved this stamp set when I first saw it in the new catologue. I also knew that it would lend itself for a stamp a stack class :)
so heres what I've come up with. we're making 12 cards, 2 of each of these 6 designs using the opposite colours... all in one evening.
I was trying to use the one sheet wonder technique too, but once I'd cut all me bits out I kept trimming or ajusting them in some way so its only loosely based on the OSW , lol!
I've used real red and old olive cardstock (I know traditional but so suits the stamps) and the ski slope papers, although I have merry moments on order so we might use those for the class :)

The ribbons are the same colours as the card, 1/4 " and 5/8" and the scallop oval and the oval punches.

Sentiments are from Best yet (level 1 hostess stamps now retired) and Occasional greetings.

Anyway must go I really need an early night!

Silent night stamp class

This is the box of cards we will be making on Wednesday at my stamp class. We are using the Silent night and snow burst stamp sets.
The cardstock is night of navy and brocade blue with the images stamped on whisper white.
Heres a close up of the box. The ink is brocade blue which gives the image a softer feel and then I've stamped the snowflakes all around the edge. The box is tied at the top with some brocade blue ribbon.
The first card is a z fold. I've stamped the image this time in versa mark and embossed with white embossing powder and did the same around the edges of the cardstock.
The inside mat is embossed with the swiss dots folder for the cuttlebug. There is a label die cut inside with the verse stamped onto it. The greeting is from the circle of friendship stamp set.

On this card I have used rthe scallop edge punch to add detail and holiday greetings from the sincere salutations stamp set.
I have also stamped the snowflakes over the evelopes.

This is a tunnel card. If you look carefully you can see the verse through the aperture. Again i've stamped in versa mark and embossed with white embossing powder. I've also added extra snowflakes to embellish the aperture.
