Mr and Mrs

Here's a quick post of a wedding card I have made. It is ruby red and very vanilla cardstock and I have used the Mr and Mrs stamp set. I have made the flowers by punching circles and scrunching, distressing and inking them, holding them together with a clear rhinestone brad and then making some leaves from the 5 petal flower punch.
I have also used the bella toile stamp too which is absolutely gorgeous.

Happy moments

I had a lovely couple of hours crafting this afternoon. Paul is at home so he took all the kids swimming. I sat (in my rearranged with loads more space) craft room popped a bit of music on and made this easel card for Sarah (my Uncles wife) using the Happy moments cake stamp and one from the whimsical words SAB stamp sets.
I made my little flower using the circle punches and the 5 petal flower punch.
There is still time to get your mitts on these stamp sets, email me with an order over £45 to claim your free stamp set.
Colours are Pretty in pink and close to cocoa with rose red dsp and pink taffeta ribbon.
Have been working on my Easter class too using the Good egg stamp set.

As I have been sorting out my craft room I have some complete and unused scrapagogo kits for sale. Email me at www.inkysmudges@sky.com if you are interested in purchasing one.

February Class

This is my February class using Stampin' Up!'s medallion stamp. We are making 2 cards and a covered notepad . We will also be using some of the word background stamps too.
This card uses the whole medallion stamp and in the middle I've added a clear rhinestone brad to give it a more feminine look.

This one has been stamped in versa mark and embossed with clear embossing powder then inked over in chocolate chip with a sponge. I've added some linen thread and a button for detail.

This is the note pad folded up and below opened out. This uses the friendly background stamp.

I made a new cover for the pad and stamped the word notes on it with the just perfect alphabet stamps. It all holds together with a velcro circle.

Happy Valentines

Hope you have all had a lovely valentines day! I made some lollipop holders for the kids to go with their matchbook treats. I saw them on Kerry's papercrafts, she has a little tutorial on them so thanks!

These ones belong to the boys. I put them in a cello bag along with the matchbook treats and then made a topper. They looked really pretty.
Ollie's didn't last long though this morning.....
This pretty little box below was for my friend. Its a Lauren Meader template called Under cover. I cut it on my cricut and put the little heart shaped window in it too.
Inside there are some little ladybug chocolates (minus one...)

I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening I have been watching dancing on ice, I'm definately team Hayley I thought she was fabulous!

Enough love......for now :)

This is another stair step fold card(below) and a box to put it in (above made with measurements from Jenny Moors) that I was commissioned to make for a friend at work for a ladies 90th! birthday.
I loved working with these greenhouse garden stamps they are so very pretty and the catologue doesn't do them justice. I have teamed them up with almost amythst, lovely lilac cardstock and barely banana and apricot appeal ink. The sentiments are from sincere salutations.

I have more love to share tomorrow. Tfl x

Tuesday, 9 February 2010

This little box is a total case from Andrea Walford's blog. I'd had a really busy weekend a couple of weeks ago and just needed to make something! The only thing I have done differently is use the heart stamp on the kraft card at the front. I have put some love hearts in mine for hubby, he loves them!
Again the stamps are Love you much and choc chip, real red and kraft card...they go so well togrther!
This is another card, same colourway and stamps as above with some ruby red dsp from the little hostess pads. The label is a svg file from Heather M.
Ollie had a better night last night and we all got some sleep...the wonders of piriton! Hes got a spot right on his lower eyelid though and it looks really sore, bless him.
I have been working on my next class projects so will post those pictures soon.

Little book of treats.

I saw these on Michelle Lasts blog a little while ago (thank you!) and after watching her video tutorial I thought I would have a go. They are really simple and so cute.. I have made 5, 3 for my kids and 2 for my sisters kids. Inside they house little packs of love hearts in cello bags. The pink ones are pixie pink and kaleidoscope dsp and the stamp set is of course love you much. These are the ones for the boys turned upside down. The blue card is tempting turquoise and I can t remeber what the dsp is as it was an oddment (sorry)
Anyway more treats tomorrow if i get chance!
