And we were off!
We headed over to our favourite place in Wales...Porthmadog.
We had a good journey even though we were packed upto the roof in the car..(slight exageration, but thats what it felt like!)
It was lovely warm and sunny and the tent went up dry, the sky was beautiful and blue.
On our first evening we called into Cricceth for a walk round and fish and chips by the beach that we had to queue over an hour for, but were so worth it!
We had a couple of glorious days on the beach. The kids played in the sand at blackrock and I enjoyed the most relaxing time reading and doing some hooky.
We rewarded ourselves at the end of the day with some well deserved icecream.
