Look.....

Lots and lots of Easter bunnies!! I have had a great time making these! Although everytime I think I have enough I remember someone else who I can make one for :)
I have use an egg shape basket template from The digi chick ( click into the shop and then onto the templates there are loads!) which I cut out with my cricut and then punched out the various shapes for the facial bits and feet. I curled some wire round a paint brush and attached with foam pads for whiskers. I've filled them with a yummy malteser rabbit and varios mini eggs.
I think they are super cute!

I saw it and needed one ;)

I was watching Tim Holtz on QVC last week and fleetingly, this little necklace caught my eye. I don't think it was shown much but when I saw it I knew I wanted one too! I think Tim' s word was wonderful.
This is the image I would have liked as a tattoo.. heart with wings ... my thinking is a bit like a guardian angel around my heart (sad I know :)) but I chickened out and now its too late cos I'm not allowed one now as i'm imunosupressed (apologies for the spelling!)
Anyway I used Tim's charms and coloured the heart with the red alcohol ink, read a book (lol nearly!) to find the word "patience" which is my One little word and then covered it with crackle accents and let it dry. I'm loving the crackled look its given the heart.
My big 2 set eyes on it tonight and they both want one too!

Dr Love Boto

Another Tiddly Ink image that fell into my shopping basket :) I love the robots Christy creates and so does my little one he loves to colour them in. I coloured him in with my promarkers and added him to this side step card. Papers are from my stash and I can't remember what they're called. I stamped the hearts with swirl stamps from autumn leaves and I didn't have all the right letters left for the sentiment...so I hope you can tell what it says lol!
I also added him to this Lauren Meader (for papertrey ink) tucked away box that I've had printed out for ages , I think I'll fill it with some nice choccys for Ollie.

Messy desk

How very messy! This was the scene on my craft desk yesterday as I was on the race against time to finish up my teacher gifts. I made 6 candle gift cards and I used a Lauren Meader for Papertrey ink template (I think its called its on the house) for Jamies teacher.
This is the finished front of the card using a Christmas magnolia stamp. I used a tutorial , I think it was from the whiff of joy inspiration blog, but I forgot to write it down.

Here's 3 of them wrapped in bags and tired with ribbon and a button. These were for the wonderful ladies at breakfast club.

And finally this is Laurens template filled with goodies for Jamie's teacher. Think thats it for now :)

Little witch hats

I've wrapped up some of those big quality street caramels to look like little witch hats (using my very gorgeous echo park papers and stickers)
They are very simple to make using half a circle of paper and wrapping it around the choccie with the curved side at the bottom until you have made a cone shape. Then cut a smaller circle for the brim of the hat and adhere the chocolate with a glue dot or foam pads.

Treat bags double

Well I've been super lazy this week and not been in the craft room much. I'm working on making some treat bags for my little halloween party next week. I made these from a 12 x 12 patterned paper and added a topper to the front. The image is Higglety from Tiddly inks and she is coloured with promarkers, the background is stamped using WMS and then I've added a bag closure to the top which is punched using the drippy goo Martha punch.
I think I'm going to fill them with halloween marshmallows :) I'm entering this into this weeks Tiddly inks challenge for treat bags.

I've got 5 to make, heres another one using witchy Daisy from squiggle stamps, same papers and colours and I'm entering this into the Squiggle stamps challenge which is all things autumn.

Halloween treats

I have some Halloween treats to share with you today. I've made some twist top boxes and decorated them with some Tiddly ink images for their challenge this week which is anything halloween.
These boxes are really quick to put together and there is a tutorial here.
My tiddly ink digis are the freebie pumpkin (from the halloween blog hop in July) ,Franko Boto and Betty Belfrey. They are all coloured with promarkers. The sentiments and star stamp is from Waltzing mouse.
I'm also going to enter my boxes into the Passion for promarkers challenge wich is the colour combo of orange, green , black and purple.

Soon be back to school

Well its not long now and our holidays will be over :( I love bimbling  about at home but it will be good to get back to some normality and routine. I picked up a new school diary yesterday and although it was rather nicely decorated I knew I wanted to add one of Christy's new school images to it ;) She is called stand out in the crowd and I think she will be perfect for my (little) big girl (shes not far off a teen now!)
She is coloured with promarkers and I've used some new digital card from craftwork cards, I love how white it is and it blended well. The swirl stamps are autumn leaves I've had them ages and forgotten about them...they have been well used in the past lol!
I am entering this project into the Tiddly challenge which is Time to gear up for school.
thanks for stopping by xxx

Spider Henry my 1st WOJ!

I'm quite excited about this one! Its my first Whiff of joy project and challenge. This was the free download of Spider Henry from sometime ago and this is the first time I've coloured it. The challenge on the Woj blog was to create a doorhanger and I thought this would look great on Ollie's bedroom door as he likes old spidy at the moment (he has a spiderman plate which he insists on every mealtime !) I found some very old spiderman paper that I've used for backing and then used varios stickers etc to embelish the letters are thickers.
Some gorgeous Norma Fickel Christmas gnomes (along with some very sweet lili of the valley too!) fell through my post box this week too!! I'm having fun!
Thanks for visiting xx

Fishy wishes

Time for another Tiddly challenge! This week Christy and the team want to know whats through your window???
I have had this image of Pearl the mermaid coloured for a while so as I got my brain cogs working I thought about these diorama cards I've reduced 2 more of the images in size and coloured them with promarkers and then covered them with stickles.
For the diorama card I cut 2 pieces of cardstock at 8.5 x 5.5,and scored at 2" on each end I then cut another piece of card at 6.5 x 5.5 and scored 1" at each side. I then ran it through the big shot with a circle nestie (1 at each side and then 1 in the middle) Then the smaller piece of card fits inside the bigger 2 pieces.
I have decorated the card with the something fishy jumbo wheel from SU and added some "bubbles" with crystal effects and 3d some more fish and the added the 3 mermaids on to the card. The sentiment is computer generated.

Sketch book mouse

Morning folks!
DH is still sleeping so I thought I'd sneak on here and post this for the challenge over at Meljens. The challenge is clean and simple...and well I think this is as clean and simple as I get lol! The image is penpal mouse and I think he is so cute! I've put him on the front of an SU on board journal so I can put all the sketch challenges in it ( I love working with a sketch) and then they'll all be in one place instead of many pieces of paper over my desk!

Halloween is hoppin' at Tiddly inks

I've had loads of fun making this card and project for the Tiddly Ink blog hop today. (I just hope I've got my timings right as we are 6 hours in front... I think...)

I've made a card and also a treat bag (Lauren Meader around town tote) I've used Betty Belfrey as my image and the free little pumpkin from the pcp group (thank you hes so cute) For my card I used the friday sketchers sketch, bg papers (periphery) SU not quite navy card, the swirl stamp from whimsical wings and lots of stitching and black ink :) The gems are prima.

My treat bag came to be because I chose the wrong size on the printer for my image but I thought she looked too cute not to use. i've attached her behind some acetate in the corner of the bag and decorated it similar to my card. (The sewing machine wasn't too happy with the acetate though so some of the stitching is done with felt tip.)

Heres both the projects together. I've coloured the images with my promarkers using the cool greys and the black and blender pen.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the "hop" :0)

2 posts today!

Lauren's new template is a teapot!!! This is my prototype and I do need a little more practise at putting it together..but... how cool is it???! I've made the little tea bag holder to go with it too.
Orchid oppulence, cottage wall card and paper from su and the stamps I've used are waltzing mouse afternoon tea.
On a personel note I was supposed to be on holiday this week but unfortunately I got a bit poorly and was told I couldn't go but just to say now I'm feeling much better !!

a bit of shabby...

Look at these beauties! I found this tutorial and thought they were super cute and then added them to some plain slides I bought from our local chemist.
I seem to be really busy at the moment....but I'm not sure doing what lol! i am working on another rag quilt bag using a pair of my old jeans, but not finished yet as the needle keeps snapping. I've ordered some super strength ones which hopefully will be here soon.
Take care .

Gift set for Mum

I made these matching card and tote for my mum's birthday which is today! Happy birthday mum!
the tote is a Lauren Meader template and I've used pale plum and perfect plum cardstock. The stamp set is vintage vogue and I've used the very vintage wheel on the pale plum as a background. The bird , of course is the 2 step bird punch and I've added some gorgeous white satin ribbon to finish it off.

Worn denim?

Just a quick share tonight. This is a rubberband box template from Waltzing mouse. I've used it here with some bordering blue card stock that has been battered, beaten, scrunched and squashed to within an inch of its life, wheeled with the very vintage wheel and then inked with some close to cocoa. I stamped the vintage vogue flower 5 times and wore the card by passing it through a paper ribbler a few times. Its all held together with a clear rhinestone brad and then scrunched to make the petals. Before adding it to the box I stamped the leaves on in old olive and the sentiment from the set.

What a sweetie

I've made a diorama card using the My sweet pea stamp set, papers and a little bit of the stitched felt.
Its has a lovely 3D effect but flattens down to go into an envelope.
My colours are chocolate chip, old olive,so saffron, pretty in pink and rose red.... and if you could look in my craft room at the mo you'd see lots of these colours everywhere!!

Pretty gift boxes

Just a couple of photos of some pretty gift packing (template from Lauren Meader). I have stamped bella toile on regal rose card, I inked round the edges with regal rose ink and then with close to cocoa to make it look a bit aged and distressed. I have sewn the card onto the base template and cut out a label and stamped with a sentiment and added to the front.

I made a flower after seeing this tutorial here.
I used the scallop circle punch ( 4 in pretty in pink, 4 in regal rose) and inked as before addding the close to cocoa and then scrunching up the paper to add to the distressed look. I've added part of a 5 petal flower for the leaf.
My gifts inside are some shower gel, lotion and a face mask.
I really enjoyed making this gift box and loved adding the stitching.
