Pumpkin art.....

My kids way :) This is Laura concentrating very hard. She chose a pattern and carved it herself.

Jamie decided to carve his own face without a pattern sheet.

And Ollie tried really hard but mummy had to help as he just kept sawing in the same place! we had a really fun morning and the kids really enjoyed carving their pumpkins. After lunch we decorated the hall ( I so wish I lived in America as I'd love to decorate all outside the house too!)   And when it got dark the pumpkins looked like this.....
Happy spooking :)

Halloween.....

Disney style :)
Another layout using Kirsty's sketch this week. I loved it! I've used my lovely echo park papers and pretty much inked and distressed everything. The boo stamp is from waltzing mouse. Instead of adding flowers I added a ruffle of SU ribbon.
While the kids were in Disney they had thechance to attend Mickey's halloween party! They all 3 got dressed up and held their treat bags open wide!!! (They brought some home for me too!)

And here's a little close up of the gorgeous lettering that comes in the paper pack :)

Little witch hats

I've wrapped up some of those big quality street caramels to look like little witch hats (using my very gorgeous echo park papers and stickers)
They are very simple to make using half a circle of paper and wrapping it around the choccie with the curved side at the bottom until you have made a cone shape. Then cut a smaller circle for the brim of the hat and adhere the chocolate with a glue dot or foam pads.

Halloween treats

I have some Halloween treats to share with you today. I've made some twist top boxes and decorated them with some Tiddly ink images for their challenge this week which is anything halloween.
These boxes are really quick to put together and there is a tutorial here.
My tiddly ink digis are the freebie pumpkin (from the halloween blog hop in July) ,Franko Boto and Betty Belfrey. They are all coloured with promarkers. The sentiments and star stamp is from Waltzing mouse.
I'm also going to enter my boxes into the Passion for promarkers challenge wich is the colour combo of orange, green , black and purple.

Atc challenge

This week has been a strange one! Everyone has been getting over jet lag and I think I came out in sympathy with them, Ive felt so tired! Anyway I've managed to put together this little atc card for the Tiddly Ink challenge, I'm on a halloween drive now so be prepared... I've used the candy avengers image and given her some googly eyes to add to her disguise! The sentiment is waltzing mouse, I can t remember the papers (sorry) but I will look them up for next time as I've bought a few in this range. Cardstock is SU.
Just a short one today as I have some tidying up... it was the wedding reception over here last night and after us all getting ready the house looks like the honey monster has visited :) Have a lovely day we have sunshine here tfl x

TI challenge

Well I was hoping to post everyday with a new project while Paul was away but I have to say I haven't had much time for crafting as I 've been out or doing domestic chores lol!
Anyway today I finished my Tiddly Ink challenge card which was to use diamond glaze or crackle accents.
I've used diamond glaze on the witches  hat and on the bats.
I've coloured my images with promarkers and attached the bats from behind with acetate strips so they dangle over.
I'm trying to watch a film at the same time as blogging so apologies for the short post :)
Thanks for stopping by xx

Halloween is hoppin' at Tiddly inks

I've had loads of fun making this card and project for the Tiddly Ink blog hop today. (I just hope I've got my timings right as we are 6 hours in front... I think...)

I've made a card and also a treat bag (Lauren Meader around town tote) I've used Betty Belfrey as my image and the free little pumpkin from the pcp group (thank you hes so cute) For my card I used the friday sketchers sketch, bg papers (periphery) SU not quite navy card, the swirl stamp from whimsical wings and lots of stitching and black ink :) The gems are prima.

My treat bag came to be because I chose the wrong size on the printer for my image but I thought she looked too cute not to use. i've attached her behind some acetate in the corner of the bag and decorated it similar to my card. (The sewing machine wasn't too happy with the acetate though so some of the stitching is done with felt tip.)

Heres both the projects together. I've coloured the images with my promarkers using the cool greys and the black and blender pen.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the "hop" :0)

Happy Halloween!!!

We had our first Halloween party last night with my sister and her kids. After an indoor bbq we set the children off with a couple of games, the first being eat the donut without using your hands. Unfortunately Paul couldn't find ring donuts so we ended up with squidgy jam ones!
Heres Jamie (who won no suprises there though!)
And laura and Ollie and Sophie at the side of Ollie.....Jack wasn't too impressed with the game though :) x
They then thought it would be great to make mummy a mummy!!! (Arrggh! All that toilet roll!)
And this is our hall decorated and below are the childrens pumpkins grown expertly by my dad!
Apparently we got the best shaped ones .. Heather you need to get there before Laura next year! LOL!
We have 2 more parties today! so by tonight I will be partied out! Enjoy your Halloween whatever you are doing and be safe if you are trick or treating!
TTFN xx

Spooky thanks

Wow! Thanks to everyone over on the late night stampers group on yahoo! My tea bag boxes have been chosen to feature on there blog finds of the day for today. Check out the group here. There are also many more blogs that have some super work and crafting inspiration. Well done everyone :)
My post for today is all Halloween treats! These are from the wonderful and talent Angie Kennedy Juda over on chic and scratch.
The children that came to my halloween class made one of these and I was really surprised how well they made them (even my 3 year old with only minimal help!) I have a fair few in my cauldron now so I hope we get some trick or treaters on the night..... or I will have to eat the contents!!!

This one is so my favourite! I have more projects to share tomorrow too!
Happy spooking..... ttfn x
