A bit of vintage

A quick post today. Hope everyone is enjoying their bank holiday weekend. I've used perfect plum ink brayered over the stripy brides design paper and then stamped the leafy border stamp up the side, and the vine across the bottom. I've stamped 3 big flower stamps in perfect plum and 3 small flowers from the vintage vogue and scrunched them and layered them up with a clear rhinestone brad. The ribbon is elegant eggplant and I've looped it 3 times. My base card is basic black.
The mr and mrs stamp is from the mr and mrs stamp set.

Thank yous

I made some thank you notes for mum and dad to write and send off after their party.
We have raised nearly £200 for kidney research in donations from family and friends from their party so thats brilliant thanks to all :)
I have used ruby red cardstock (obviously) and whisper white. I used the standard wheel with Forever flowers, the Mr and Mrs and Wonderful words stamps sets.
Now I really should go and do some ironing..... ;)

Wow! What a weekend.

We have had the best weekend! We've been keeping secrets from my mum and dad for a month and its been hard. It was there 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday and on Saturday we celebrated with a suprise party. Above is the cake me and Heather made between us and below are the cupcakes I made.
This is my mum and dad arriving. They were genuinely suprised... I was convinced they knew but they said they didn't. I'd gone up for breakfast on Saturday morning as dad was trying to bring up the meat for Sunday dinner so I told them I was going out shopping for the rest of the day!

We asked for people not to get gifts but if they wanted to they could give a donation to kidney research. So far we have £170!!
Below is the card I made for them.

Its a stair step card like the one on Jenny Moors blog.
I have used ruby red and very vanilla cardstock and stamps from Simply said and Mr and Mrs. I made my flowers as post below and distressed and inked everywhere.
i'm so proud of my mum and dad reaching 40 years of marriage.. seems so very rare these days.
Will be back soon with details of our new March promotion, some blog candy to celebrate my birthday on 15th and details of the March class! Phew!

Mr and Mrs

Here's a quick post of a wedding card I have made. It is ruby red and very vanilla cardstock and I have used the Mr and Mrs stamp set. I have made the flowers by punching circles and scrunching, distressing and inking them, holding them together with a clear rhinestone brad and then making some leaves from the 5 petal flower punch.
I have also used the bella toile stamp too which is absolutely gorgeous.
