Lavinia new love stamps

I am trying to find my stamping and card making mojo this year, it went a bit astray last year as new hobbies (well hobby) took over.
When we went to the NEC before Christmas I fell in love with these beautiful stamps from Lavinia. i was really lucky to have Mum with me and she bought me some for Christmas!
Yesterday I had a bit of a go at doing my own brayering (I have been using Lavinia's already made backgrounds) anyway this is a bit of a first attempt, I have a lot to learn yet, but I am quite pleased with the results.
Looking forward to another little play today.

A sparkly bird on a branch

I had a little go with ink and my brayer last week... I so need more practise! I am actually happy with how this turned out (I think it took 3 attempts to get this one)
I stamped the branch in a few different positions (after brayering the background) popped the bird on one of them and then added the sentiment. I then sprayed it with some shimmer paint mixed with water and liquid hand sanitiser. (It makes it dry a bit quicker)
The stamp set is from the new mini and is called bird on a branch.
